The last week of August, we stopped for breakfast at acclaimed chef Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery. Bouchon bakery is a little bit of Paris right in the heart of Napa Valley California. I had a feeling Bouchon was going to be good but this good, come on!! I sunk my teeth into a pork belly Fouee at 10 in the morning! You ever hear of a Fouee?! I hadn’t either but the guy behind the counter recommended it. He said it was a best seller, so I got one of those, and an almond croissant, and a chocolate-almond croissant. Too bad I only have one stomach!

After a couple of wine tastings I really couldn’t wait to get back into the car and finish the rest of that chocolate-almond croissant. Although, I already finished my half of the croissant, Sandy fortunately found it in her grace of hearts to share her half of the croissant with me. Watch our exchange and then my exchange with the chocolate-almond croissant!
