Caramelized onions is a delicious ingredient that enhances pizza, pasta, or a main dish.
Ingredients
- 2 sweet onions
- 2 TBS olive oil
- 1 TBS Butter
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Pepper
- Pinch of Sugar
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a pan. When melted add the onions and pinch of salt and pepper for five minutes. Then add a pinch of sugar and lower the heat for 20 minutes and watched it carefully so doesn’t burn. It's finished when the onions take on a soft, wilted, caramel color.
