To make homemade waffles, you need to buy a waffle maker (I have an Oster), then you need to perfect your batter. I tried a few times to make a waffle with good consistency. My first waffles came out a bit rubbery soft on the outside, but after the second go at it, I nailed the texture. Make sure you get your batter looking smooth (but not runny) and don’t over mix it (you want some clumps in your batter). Be patient, then when you perfect your batter, write down the recipe that worked best for you. Recipe attached. Enjoy.

To make homemade waffles, you need to buy a waffle maker (I have an Oster), then you need to perfect your batter.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 3 TB metled butter
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 1 tbs honey
- 2⅛ cup of pancake mix OR
- (2 cups of flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 2 tsp sugar)
Instructions
- Beat whole eggs in a bowl until thick. Beat milk, melted butter and vanilla into eggs. In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Sift into egg mixture, and mix well.
- Set the waffle temperature control to medium high heat (for a crispy outside, soft inside). Pour the batter into waffle maker using a measuring cup and fill bottom grid of waffle maker with enough bater to cover all the areas of the grid (start from center and work outward). Cook 4 minutes or until the top of the waffle is golden brown.
