The Apple Crisp I made last week was a hit, so I made peach crisp, and it came out delicious!
Ingredients
- 2.5 TB White Sugar
- ½ TB cinnamon
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- ¾ cup wheat flour
- pinch salt
- ¼ 1/2 stick butter room temperature (depending on how healthy you want to make it)
- 6 Peaches apples, de-pitted and cut into sections
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Fill an 8 x 8 pan or rectangular pan with fresh peeled and sliced peaches.
- Sprinkle 2 TB of granulated sugar over the peaches
- Combine cinnamon, brown sugar, flour, salt and rest of sugar in bowl
- Mix in ¼ to ½ stick of room temperature butter, adding the butter in marble sized pieces.
- Mix until the butter pieces are the size of peas.
- Spread evenly over the peaches, slightly pressing the topping on top of the peaches.
- Bake for 30 minutes to 45 minutes until the peaches are fork tender.
- Cool and serve with fresh, vanilla ice cream
