After a terrible meal at The Grill Room Portland a day earlier, we decided to take a flier on Street and Co. and we ended up flying high because this restaurant is incredible!
First impression is really strong. You walk down a small cobblestone street to get there, then walk into a charming dining room with views of the the chefs at work.
The restaurant is clean, the waitstaff is friendly and professional, and the food is ridiculously fresh and well prepared.
We got Grilled Fresh Sardines with Fennel, Sea Salt and Olive Oil, which reminded us of Italy, Yum!
Then we split a Blackened Halibut and Tuna Bolognese. The Halibut is not my favorite fish typically but it tasted so fresh it melted in your mouth. And although I wasn’t initially wowed when the waitress said our Bolognese sauce would have Tuna in lieu of meat, I practically licked the plate clean!
Fresh, well prepared food, very helpful, attentive waitstaff, and chefs smiling and waving at us on the way out, Street and Co. was cool experience that made my belly very happy. Five Stars for sure!
