The burbs might be a little boring, but it doesn’t have to be bland! If you look around hard enough, you’ll find some quality eats in the burbs. I recommend these three places to grab a quick, quality sandwich or salad.
Lately, I’ve been grabbing my lunch at Big Fresh Cafe in Framingham. Go with the Chicken Tabouli wrap and call it a day. You get pan seared chicken with taboule, hummus, shredded lettuce, red cabbage, tomato, cucumber, tahini & homemade piccalill. Fresh and delicious flavors, it’s one of the best wraps I’ve ever had.
If you’re in Chestnut Hill area, check out Sweet Green and get the humungous Hummus Tahina salad. You get chopped romaine, shredded kale,, herb falafel, feta cheese, tomatoes, red onion, cucumbers, za’atar breadcrumbs, housemade hummus, and cucumber tahini yogurt dressing. I sometimes add chicken to the salad and definitely have enough left over for dinner. This salad is large, fresh, and delicious.
And a stone’s throw away in Chestnut Hill is Seasons 52 and for lunch I recommend the Barbecue Chicken salad. In this bbq masterpiece you get baby spinach, romaine, sweet corn, roasted red peppers, sunflower seeds, Gorgonzola, a cumin-lime vinaigrette, with fresh juicy bbq chicken on top. And for only 470 cal it will satisfy your senses without weighing you down.
Go grab a bite to eat in the burbs and let me know what you think of these salads and wraps. Enjoy your lunch!
